Welcome to Hervey Bay  we have one of the largest artificial reefs in the southern hemisphere this has been down for over 40 years prolific marine life is established 

In addition to this there has been massive blocks of concretre placed around the Fraser Isalnd on the western side 

the fish life is already congregating 

There is friniging coral reef and coffe rock very interesting sites for fish life 

The EX HMAS Tobruk will be sent to her final resting place out from Hervey bay 

The BEST Diving starts from Autumn and goes to the beginning of Spring 

Hervey bay has a considerable tidal flow but with the right planning an interesting dive is possible

Marine life here is quite varied both under the water and on the trip out
